Abby stood with Tom at the entrance to airport security; their arms around each other.
“I wish you didn't have to go.” she said.
“I know. I wish I didn't have to go too, but that's what you get for dating an actor.” Tom said.
“Yeah. Well have a good time. Win an award.” she said.
He laughed, “I'll try. And do check on Loki, I don't know what he'll do to my apartment while I'm gone.”
“Don't worry. I'll make sure he doesn't turn it into some evil lair. You'd better get going.” she told him.

Abby slowly opened her eyes to the morning sun. She shut them again and pulled the comforter over her face. Today was Sunday, her day to sleep in, but just as she was about to go back to sleep her phone rang. She looked over at the caller ID and saw that it was Tom. She grabbed it off her dresser and answered it.
“Hey.” she said.
“Good morning Abby.” she heard Tom say.
“Hm, I was still sleeping.” she said.
“Oh, I'm sorry, Abby. I didn't mean to wake you.” he said apologizing.
“It's not your fault, I had just woken up right before you called. What's up?” she asked.
