You ran up to Ludwig, hand extended, "Let's dance!"
"Vhat?" he asked, startled.
Laughing, you grabbed his hand and dragged him into the center of the people dancing. They parted ways for you, and he didn't resist too much, you knew if he didn't want to go you wouldn't have been able to budge him. The bonfire kept you warm in your dress, the one you only wore for these parties.
You danced with him happily, good old fashion dancing, polite and courteous.

“A ball?” Ludwig said as he examined the invitation Gilbert and just handed him.
His friends Eliza and Roderich were there also. They had stopped by to see how Gilbert and he were doing.
“Yes, ve just the invitation today in the mail. It sounds likes a party to celebrate the peace in the European Union and Russia is hosting it.” Eliza said.
“Hmm, sounds a little strange... It's a bit last minute, says it's tomorrow night.” he said trailing off staring at the invitation.
